Visas & Entry Requirements
CrownCiel books private aviation and yacht travel. We do not arrange visas, e-visas, or entry permits. You are responsible for passport validity and any document required to enter your destination country.
Important
CrownCiel is a travel broker — not a government authority, visa agent, or immigration adviser. A confirmed CrownSky or CrownSea booking does not guarantee admission at any border or port.
KYC vs destination visa
Identity verification (KYC) on CrownCiel is for platform compliance and operator safety. It is separate from destination visas or immigration approval. Uploading a passport for KYC does not mean you are cleared to enter another country.
Your responsibilities
- Confirm whether you need a visa, e-visa, visa-on-arrival, or other entry permit for your destination and any countries you transit.
- Ensure your passport is valid for the period required by the destination (often six months beyond travel dates).
- Apply for visas through official government channels or a licensed visa/travel-document agency you choose.
- Carry printed or digital copies of approval letters, return tickets, and accommodation details if required.
- Check health, vaccination, or maritime entry rules that may apply to jets or yachts.
What CrownCiel provides
- Booking confirmation and itinerary details you may need when applying for a visa.
- Concierge guidance on what documents travelers commonly need — general information only, not legal advice.
- Direction to official government immigration websites for popular CrownCiel destinations.
What CrownCiel does not do
- Apply for, issue, or guarantee visas or entry permits.
- Refund bookings because a visa was denied or entry was refused at immigration.
- Act as your legal representative with any embassy, consulate, or border authority.
Pre-travel checklist
Passport validity
Check expiry date and blank pages. Many destinations require validity beyond your return date.
Visa type
Tourist, business, or transit — match your trip purpose. Yacht charters may have different marina or crew rules.
Transit countries
Private jets may land for fuel or customs. Confirm rules for every country on your route, not only the final destination.
Minors & group travel
Additional consent or documentation may be required for children traveling without both parents.
After approval
Keep visa reference numbers and approval emails accessible during travel and at check-in.
Official resources (popular destinations)
Always confirm requirements for your nationality on the official site before you travel. CrownCiel does not control these links or immigration rules.
Maldives
Many nationalities can obtain visa on arrival or e-visa. Rules vary by nationality — verify before departure.
Official information →United Arab Emirates
UAE entry is nationality-specific. Some travelers need a pre-approved visa; others qualify for visa on arrival.
Official information →Schengen / Europe
Short-stay Schengen visas may be required depending on nationality and length of stay.
Official information →Indonesia (e.g. Bali)
Check visa and e-VOA requirements for your passport nationality before travel.
Official information →If your visa is denied or delayed
If your visa application is refused or delayed, contact CrownCiel concierge as soon as possible. Cancellation and refund terms follow our Cancellation Policy — visa denial alone does not automatically qualify for a full refund unless stated there or required by law.
See our Cancellation & refund policy for how changes are handled.
CrownCiel may introduce optional visa-assistance partnerships with licensed third-party agencies in the future. Until then, all visa applications remain your responsibility.
